Encinitas Union School District assures an affordable and comprehensive benefits package to those employees who work 30 or more hours per week. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and life coverage for the employee. Employees have the option to enroll their dependents in a medical or dental plan.

NEW NOTICE: On March 19, 2021, the state of California passed S.B. 95, which requires certain employers to provide their employees, who are unable to work or telework due COVID-19 related reasons, with supplemental paid sick leave. These provisions will apply from January 1, 2021 through September 30, 2021.

When can I enroll in an American Fidelity plan?
Typically enrollment occurs in the month of November during the annual Open Enrollment period, with a beginning date of January 1st. However, you may enroll in a plan with post-tax deductions at any time during the year. New employees are eligible to begin deductions the month following their hire date.
