How to Create Your NEW Account in the PowerSchool Parent Portal 

The Parent Portal is not the same as your Enrollment Account. You will need to create a Parent Portal account if you have not already done so. You will use the parent portal to fill out your Back-to-School packet, see your student’s CAASPP scores and more.

STEP 1: Go to  https://encinitas.powerschool.com/public/ .

STEP 2: Leave the Username and Password fields blank.  Click "Forgot Username or Password?" to establish your account if you did not get your student’ CAASPP scores online last year.

STEP 3: Enter the email you provided to the district in both fields.

STEP 4: Check your email for a message from PowerSchool SIS. 

If you do not receive an email, check your spam folder.

STEP 5: Click the link inside the email and select a password. You will want to write it down.  

STEP 6: Once you have created your password go to https://encinitas.powerschool.com/public/ .

STEP 7: Enter your email in Username and enter your newly created password.

Once in, If you have more than one child in EUSD, you can toggle to their information in the upper left-hand corner.

The PowerSchool SIS Parent Portal Landing Page will open.  

Please note: After June 1, 2024 parents of 3rd-6th graders will see their CAASPP scores under “Reports”.  Beginning the week of August 12, 2024, parents will be able to access the new, online 2024-2025 Back-to-School Packet.
