Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee

Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC)

After a bond authorized under Proposition 39 is passed, state law requires that the EUSD Board of Trustees appoint a Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee to work with the District.  In January 2025, EUSD posted a request for qualified, engaged community members to serve on a CBOC and received a number of well-qualified applicants.  Following a careful review of the applications, recommendations were made to the Board of Trustees.  At its regular meeting on March 11, 2025, the Board of Trustees of the Encinitas Union School District approved seven (7) qualified, engaged community members to serve on the independent Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (“CBOC”) for the implementation of the District’s Measure Z School Facilities Bond program.

EUSD is thankful for the interest of our community in supporting the District and this Committee.

The CBOC will hold its first meeting in 2025 and additional information will be made available at that time on this website.
