(Sixth Grade Camp)

San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) Outdoor Education Program

Park Dale Lane sixth grade students attended the San Diego County Office of Education's Outdoor Education Program the week of March 23 - 27, 2009 at Camp Cuyamaca.  Sixth grade students from the Santee School District also attended.  The program, also known as Sixth Grade Camp, is celebrating its 63rd anniversary this year.  The Outdoor Education curriculum aligns with the California Science Content Standards for grade six and includes:

- Life science, Biology, Botany
- Earth Science, Geology, Meteorology, Astronomy
- Outdoor Skills, Native American Lore
- Recreation Activities and Crafts
