Tours of kindergarten classes will be available starting in January, 2010 for parents of incoming kindergarten students for the 2010 - 2011 school year.  Please call the school office, (760)944-4344, to arrange for an appointment.  Typically the tours are available on Wednesday mornings from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M.  The tour will consist of a meeting with Dr. Reeve, Park Dale Lane's Principal, to hear information about the kindergarten program and taking a brief look inside the current kindergarten classrooms.
 

Our Kindergarten Coffee will be held in our multi-purpose room on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.  The purpose of the Kindergarten Coffee is to provide information about Park Dale Lane Elementary School and our kindergarten program.  Parents will hear information about the registration process and also have the opportunity to meet the school staff who will be a part of your child's first educational experience.  Representatives from our PTA will also present information about their programs and parent involvement opportunities.
 

Beginning on Thursday, April 29, 2010, Park Dale Lane will begin accepting registration packets for kindergarten students for the 2010 - 2011 school year.  Hours for first day registration will be from 8:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. in our multi-purpose room.  After (date to be determined), kindergarten registration packets will be accepted between 8:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday in the school office.
 

Kindergarten Social
August, 2010

The Kindergarten Social will be from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM (date is pending).  Families with an incoming kindergarten student are invited to tour the kindergarten classrooms, playground area and hear Dr. Reeve read the story, "The Blanket that Had to Go".
 

Kindergarten Orientation
August 16, 2010

Kindergarten Orientation will held on Monday, August 16, 2010.  The orientation will begin after the PTA Welcome Coffee and will be held in the kindergarten classrooms.  The purpose of the orientation is for the kindergarten teachers to present the kindergarten program to parents.
 

The first day of school will be on Monday, August 16, 2010. Students may be on the playground starting at 7:45 AM.  The first day of school is also a full day of school for kindergarten students and dismissal will be at 2:20 PM.

It is recommended that families new to Park Dale Lane for the 2010 - 2011 school year have their names placed on the school's mailing list once you have toured the school or after registration.  This will assist the office staff in preparing for the 2010 - 2011 school year.
