STAR Test Results.
This report shows how well 2nd - 6th
students performed on the California Standards Tests (CST). The
CSTs were developed specifically to assess 2nd - 6th students' knowledge
of the California content standards in English/Language Arts,
Mathematics and Science (5th). Test results are reported in five
performance levels: Advanced, Proficient, Basic, Below Basic and
Far Below Basic. Scores are also used to determine how
well a school is addressing targets for API and AYP.

Academic Performance Index (API) Results.
This report shows how much a school
is improving from year to year based on its API. A school’s API is a
number that ranges from 200 to 1000 and is calculated from the results
for each school’s students on statewide tests. The state has set 800 as
the API target for all schools to meet. Click here for API history.

Progress (AYP) |

This report shows how well schools
are meeting common standards of academic performance, as measured by
whether the school or school district makes AYP. Required AYP targets
increase yearly until 2013 - 2014 when all schools must have 100 percent
of their students performing at or above the proficient level on
statewide tests.

The
purpose of the CELDT is to identify new students who are English
learners in kindergarten through grade six, to determine their level
of English proficiency and to annually assess their progress in learning
English.

for Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Results (Fifth Grade).
Administered to 5th grade students, this test measures
students' fitness levels in six areas measured by the FITNESSGRAM® test:
Aerobic Capacity, Body Composition, Abdominal Strength &
Endurance, Trunk Extensor Strength & Flexibility, Upper Body Strength &
Endurance, Flexibility. Results are used to determine if students'
performance levels fall within the Healthy Fitness Zone.

(SARC).
The purpose of the report card is to provide
parents and the community with important information about each public
school. A SARC can be an effective way for a school to report on its
progress in achieving goals. The public may also use a SARC to evaluate
and compare schools on a variety of indicators. Spanish version
