Corine Belsterling named
Flora Vista Teacher of the Year

Flora Vista named Corinne Belsterling as their Teacher of the Year. She has taught kindergarten for over 10 years. There have been many educational changes and trends over the years and Corinne has always been instrumental in taking the initiative to adapt, update, and/or totally change classroom projects to meet new expectancies. She is generous with her time and her wisdom when sharing ideas with the Kindergarten team at Flora Vista. 

She has served on every committee at Flora Vista (some twice) and is an invaluable asset. She has the experience and insight to know the needs of the school and the articulation to express them in a professional manner. 

Corinne is admired and respected, above all else, for her incredible gift of kindness to children. Her love and compassion for all kindergartners is evidenced by the frequent stream of visits she receives from those who have grown up and still drop by f or a kind word and/or a hug. She is a wonderful role model for children and adults. Congratulations Corine!
