New Faces In and Around the District

We are very pleased and excited to announce that several new faces can be seen in classrooms across the Encinitas Union School District. Thirty new teachers have joined the District.  They include:

To help our new teachers step into their new role as a teacher in the Encinitas Union School District, all attended an informative New Teacher Orientation on August 8, 2000, at Ocean Knoll School.  They were provided with valuable information about the District including curriculum standards, our Strategic Plan, our Technology Plan, school year calendar, procedures for securing substitute

teachers, payroll and health benefits, the Agreement between the District and the Teachers of Encinitas, and many other helpful topics to ensure their success as they begin their teaching endeavors in Encinitas.  The Orientation also gave them an opportunity to meet our dedicated and very supportive Board of Trustees, our superintendent and district administration, and principals from around the District.  

We are proud of all of our teachers.  They are an integral part of our powerful educational team that is committed to instructional leadership and high performance learning for all children.  The selection of these teachers to the EUSD team of teachers is affirmation that they are dedicated to the purpose of doing great things for children and providing them with a high quality educational experience.  It is because of the high quality of teachers which are attracted to Encinitas that ensures not only high quality education, but negligible teacher attrition which accounts for the extraordinary stability of our teaching force and continuity from classroom to classroom, across all grade levels and schools.
