Caps and gowns were the only thing missing at a recent graduation ceremony honoring 33 San Diego County school principals for their successful completion of the 1999-2000 UCSD Principals Executive Program. Funded by a grant from the Girard Foundation, the program is designed to help kindergarten through 12th-grade school administrators learn new models and strategies for effective leadership and develop a broad network of associations with community business and professional leaders.
