Chamber Salutes Encinitas Teachers North Coast News The Education Committee of the Chamber, in continuing efforts to promote closer ties with the education segment of our City is arranging a luncheon on May 30 to honor the Teacher of the Year from the Encinitas Union School District and the Teacher of the Year from the San Dieguito Union High School District for the year 2000. The
Encinitas Chamber will honor these two
teachers with a plaque and a cash award as
well as gifts from other members of the
business community. In addition to the two teachers
who will receive plaques from the Chamber, we
will be inviting and recognizing the teacher
from each school site who was selected as Teacher of the Year by their particular school. City officials, school administrators, Chamber Board Directors and Chamber Members are invited to join us at this special luncheon which will be held at Firenze Trattoria, 162 S. Rancho Santa Fe Road, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cost will be $10 per person and reservations are required as seating is limited. Please call the Chamber at 753-6041 for reservations.
