Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner 
"Unity in Community"

ENCINITAS -- Four Encinitas schools were recognized by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce for their outstanding educational programs. Hosted at the La Costa Resort & Spa, the Carlsbad Chamber Partners in Education Foundation honored the following teachers and programs:

James Staton Sounding Off Against Juvenile Diabetes La Costa Heights

Dawn Yaryan for Audrey Miller School Garden Mission Estancia

Jeannie Benowitz Paws to Read Olivenhain Pioneer

Congratulations to all four schools and staff members for making a significant difference in the quality of education for the children in the Encinitas schools. The 2004 Outstanding Educational Program Awards Dinner was televised by KDCI Channel 3 (Adelphia Communications). The program will also be televised at the following times: April 20 - 5:00 PM; April 23 - 7:30 PM; April 27 - 4:30 PM; and April 30 - 8:00 PM. Check your local listings for May showtimes.
