Judy Esquivel named Judy
Esquivel, Food Service Asst. II at Ocean Knoll, is Classified Employee of the Year for
Food Services. Judy is an outstanding employee and truly puts children first on a daily
basis. She is extremely organized, caring, and very detail oriented. She enjoys working at
Ocean Knoll and it shows through her continuous efforts in making the lunch service more
efficient and communicating with the office on a daily basis. Her supervisor attests to the fact that Judy's attitude is fantastic and her paperwork is immaculate and thorough. Her commitment to putting children first shows through her gentle demeanor and by her 25 years of service to the Encinitas Union School District. The District has employed Judy since September of 1978, during which time she served as an Extended Day Care Assistant until 1994. She then began working for Food Services as a Food Service Assistant I from 1995 to 1997 and was later promoted to the position of Food Service Assistant II from 1997 to the present. The Food Services Department and District have benefited greatly from
