Kindergarten Registration UPDATED for 2018 – 2019

To be eligible for enrollment for kindergarten, students must be five (5) on or before September 1 (CA Education Code 48000) and must currently reside within the boundaries of the Encinitas Union School District. Families in the process of moving to EUSD may register their students once their residency within EUSD is established.

Online registration for new students including kindergarten students will begin on Thursday, February 1, 2018 using the Home Connection Portal. Kindergarten Workshops have been scheduled at each school to assist parents who may need additional support in completing the registration process. In the state of California, school is mandatory for six (6) year old students. Some parents choose to advance or delay the start of public schools for a myriad of reasons.
