Thursday, April 24th from 3:00-4:00pm

Web Sites with WORDPRESS
Monday, April 28th from 3:00-5:00pm
Create your own teacher web site using Wordpress. This software will allow teachers to create and update their classroom web sites from both home and school. Wordpress has many easy to use layouts to choose from. You will be able to add links to favorite sites, upload audio, video and pictures and host your own blog from this site. After attending this training you will have an up and running web site.

PODCASTS
Wednesday, April 30th from 3:00-4:30pm
Enhance student writing with Audacity by creating educational podcasts. Podcasting will give you a way to motivate students to read, write and share the stories they create. Use fairy tales, narratives, and favorite writing activities to take learning to a new level. Stories will come to life when students add sound effects and learn to use inflections in their voice when reading.

Space is limited to 12 people for training. If there are other technology related trainings (i.e. wikis or video conferencing) that interest you, please let us know by emailing atarquin@eusd.net and we will try to provide training in that area.
