EUSD Extended Day ASPIRE Program

News

We’ve changed our name!  The Encinitas Union School District’s Extended Daycare Program has changed its name to the EUSD Extended Day ASPIRE Program.  ASPIRE stands for Allowing Students to Prosper In Recreation and Education.  The staff felt that this name reflects more of what our program has to offer rather than simple childcare.  We are expanding our services to offer more activities and projects for students to participate in our program as well as increasing our staffing to further enhance the already dynamic student experience.

We’re going electric!

We are in the process of instituting an electronic sign-in sheet for our students.  This will allow us not only to help the environment, but to maintain more accurate data on our students.

Please note this change will also include added security for your children.  We will have the ability to see who is eligible to pick up your children by taking digital photos of persons authorized to pick up students and downloading it into our database.  Over the next few weeks, our staff will be taking photos as you pick up and drop off your children for this purpose.  We thank you for your patience as this transfer takes place.

Program Notes…

If students are changing dates of attendance, it is imperative to notify our office in writing prior to the new month starting.  This way we can adjust attendance sheets accordingly so our staff will know when to expect your children or stop billing as necessary.  Without this note, the regular billing cycle will continue regardless if a child attends or not.

Please be sure to submit all tuition by the 5th school day of every month to avoid late fees.  Payments can be mailed directly to our district office or dropped with our staff at the various school sites.  Keep in mind, anything sent via U.S. mail must be received by that due date.  Postmarks will not be accepted as received on time.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
