SUPERVISOR OF EXTRA CURRICULAR PROGRAMS

DEFINITION:

Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, develops, coordinates, and manages the Enrichment and Extended Day Care Programs in a manner that contributes to the growth and development of students.

DUTIES:

The primary focus of this position is in the development, implementation and maintenance of extracurricular programs. The position requires the capabilities to recruit creative staff and implement programs for the Enrichment program and to provide professional development for the Child Care staff. The supervisor will encourage children's involvement; develop physical environments that conform to District standards of safety and cleanliness and that is conducive to optimal growth and development of the students; enrolls and registers students into the program; supervises the record keeping for the program that is required by the District, such as personnel evaluation, program evaluation, records of students attendance, requisitions, inventories, staff attendance, program budgets; and performs other related work as assigned.
