Our Principal
Dr. Belinda Minor earned her doctorate in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1997. Her masters degree in education and certificate of advanced study are also from Harvard University, and her B.A., from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri is in English and French. She completed her teaching preparation program at San Diego State University, and she holds California teaching and administrative credentials. Dr. Minor began her teaching career in Encinitas, CA in 1986. She has served as a school administrator in three districts in California and has taught graduate level courses at Cal State San Marcos and Harvard. Before joining Capri in August 2007, she was the principal of Olivenhain Pioneer Elementary for five years. Dr. Minor enjoys speaking Spanish and is delighted to be able to use this skill in a school that is actively preparing students for leadership in a global society. She currently lives in Encinitas with her husband Andrew and two sons, Grant and Benny. |
