The Capri Elementary School community is located in the northwestern section of the City of Encinitas, serving over
650 kindergarten through sixth grade students. The school has experienced significant changes in student demographics to include a wider diversity of children. The school has developed educational programs designed to provide the skills and tools necessary for students to explore their creativity while developing a strong educational base. The dedication of Capri Elementary School’s staff, parents, and community to their students has resulted in the school’s California Distinguished School and Golden Bell Award status.
