MISSION
The mission of Ocean Knoll Elementary School is to maintain ongoing growth and innovation within our educational programs by meeting to the diverse needs of our students. Our program aims to create culturally proficient, life long learners who inquire and think critically about the world around them. Ocean Knoll fosters a culture of universal achievement with systematic implementation of standards based curriculum, acceleration, intervention, assessment, data analysis, collaboration, and professional development.
VISION
Ocean Knoll Elementary School’s vision promotes intercultural understanding and respect in order to prepare students for a global economy. Curriculum and instruction is rich in the use of technology, interpersonal, critical, creative and meta-cognitive skills. Every child, regardless of their economic status, race or family situation can achieve great things. Ocean Knoll is in the business of creating and fostering lifelong scholars who exude compassion and courage in the 21st century. The teachers, families, staff, and community work together to foster an attitude supportive, creative, and open to change. Through communication and collaboration this school community builds trust and empowers us all to continually improve the educational experience for our children.
